Getting started with Decathlon is amazingly simple. For each of your online campaigns, tell Decathlon three things:


  1. Determine the business objective for each of your online ad campaigns and select the best profile. You can choose from 3 basic profile options - Growth, Balance or Profit.

    • Growth profile will prioritize sales growth

    • Profit profile will prioritize profitability of ad campaigns

    • Balance profile does a little of both - opportunistically grow sales while keeping ad campaigns near profit targets

  2. Select the performance target metric for each campaign, such as ACOS, ROAS, CPA or CPC. For example, a Growth profile campaign will generally have a high CPA metric compared to a Profit profile campaign. 

  3. Finally, for campaigns that bid on keywords, determine if you want Decathlon to automatically add new keywords or if you want to stick with what you already have. We recommend adding new keywords since consumer search habits change often.

That's it. Once Decathlon knows your objective for each campaign, it starts to work right away. Just sit back, relax and watch Decathlon improve your business.
